The pictures were old and tattered and Toni Gilbert did a great job of re-mastering them on photoshop. The text tells a great story of early settlers to the West. It is well written and gives the reader a lot of interesting stories about this family, as the headed West. Very well done.

Lilly Curtis was able to do for her family, 75+ years ago, what we all take for granted today. Taking photographs of everyday life. Lily Curtis' photographs coupled with her granddaughters gift for writing (and investigative reporting) makes for an enjoyable read at a glimpse into the lives of our pioneer families.
