By Anima Giraldez Back in Vail, with Grif and Kendall, we get the story of Diego and Lilly. Complete opposites in every way - financial, social, education and emotional - they are totally attracted anyway. Diego has scars and injuries from his childhood and from his Marine service. Lilly is a formal model trying to enter the fashion world with her own store. A friend of her father's has decided to set his sights on Lilly, and he creeps her out to no end. We not only get the hot romance Madden is known for but a great suspense with plenty of opportunity for Diego to protect Lilly. They grow into a truly beautiful and loving couple, I hope we get to see them again. As a beta reader I was able to read this early and offer my honest review. It's not necessary to read the entire series as each book is for a separate couple but it's a fabulous series with heroes and strong women.

The emotional ride you go on from learning about Diego's psychological troubles with PTSD and his physical scars that make interacting with others difficult to learning about Lilly's past. Diego digs himself off the streets and joins the military wanting to have a better life. Lilly wants to make a name for herself as a model which draws unwanted attention from someone from lilly's past. Which creates the need for Diego to protect her. Diego tries to keep his distance but Lilly just pulls him in even though he doesn't think anyone could want him with coming from the streets and now with his disabilities. The romance and ups and downs give you a real look at what some soldiers deal with emotionally and physically.

An eclectic collection of short fiction not intended for children, the prudish or the prim. A kind of systemic untidiness seems to saturate the humanity happening between the pages…optimist are met with despair, the delusional come to realize stark realities, the ugly begins to feel beautiful, the simple minded becomes the profound, acts of patriotism and treason are blurred, murder and justice begin to fail distinction. "This revolution, like so many revolutions, began with a severe act of criminality, a profound cruelty, sublime in anger and imagination. It wasn’t the desperate riots that broke out in the slums or the weapons fired upon women who stole food to feed their children. It wasn’t the disappeared. It wasn’t the beatings, the maimings at the hands of police. It wasn’t the sick who died in the doorways of hospitals. It wasn’t the hunger, the hopelessness or the torture. It wasn’t any of these crimes. It was one-hundred and eight degree Texas heat and a Jesuit priest who could no longer see the image of God in man." From “This Revolution” ********** "I was a man, brutishly deformed, repulsive, a hard thing to look at…in love. I was fed well enough and warm most of the time. I have no recollections of being scolded by a father, assured by a mother. I have never touched a woman, given a name to a son or a daughter. There was that cake, chocolate. I have no regrets. In those first few moments after my passing, there was nothing to do but watch. I feel my remains were given due respect. I wasn’t offended by the cruelty, the coarseness of that rope and I was glad my hand held to my wrist. I wasn’t sure it would. But it did. And now, I am neither warm nor cold." From "The Color of Everything" ********** "I thought about vultures, how they lived in the sky, coming to earth only to eat, to sleep. There were times I’d spend long moments up atop the knoll, nearly fallen into a trance, watching them soar; sometimes for so long my neck kinked, just waiting for one, out of necessity, to flap its wings. Now, notwithstanding the unfortunate act of sticking your head up a four day dead coyotes butt for breakfast…you have no natural enemies. Even those with rifles won’t waste a bullet because they resent the very idea of your carcass. You’re anathema, untouchable…and so free…and you live in the sky." From “The Color of Everything” ********** "I was a young man, more so a boy, when my life first became tied to the life of one Mr. Thomas L. Hinny. Even then, what now seems so long ago, the lines and crevices of time were already set and breaking across his face and hands, forming the now familiar map of an existence corroded and marred by self-induced, bitter cantankerousness. I believed then, as I believe today, that he has hated me from the moment he first laid his birdish little eyes upon me. And now that he is so old and ancient that even his skin is like dust, I believe the sole reason he yet clings to life is to insure that his hatred of me has a living vessel in which to dwell. If old Hinny were to curl up his toes and die there would be no physical embodiment to provide a home for his well-honed, expert and practiced contempt for me. But Hinny, after all these many and miserable years behind him, yet lives. And I live. And here we are, living in this house together." From “Hinny” ********** I believe, with all that was once my heart, once my soul, that I am the last. I am a rare thing. I believe my head, yet fixed tenuously upon my neck, is the last of its kind. I’m sure this will be changed very soon. I hear them down at the river. Their voices carry far. They shout to one another, “He’s over here! He’s over there!” I am not. They bark, “Downstream! I think he’s downstream!” Why is it the living always chose downstream? From "The Last Zombie"

Concise and highly regarded, this treatment of Green's functions and their applications in science and engineering is geared toward undergraduate and graduate students with only a moderate background in ordinary differential equations and partial differential equations. The text also includes a wealth of information of a more general nature on boundary value problems, generalized functions, eigenfunction expansions, partial differential equations, and acoustics. The two-part treatment begins with an overview of applications to ordinary differential equations. Topics include the adjoint operator, delta function, the Green's function method, and the eigenfunction method. The second part, which explores applications to partial differential equations, covers functions for the Laplace, Helmholtz, diffusion, and wave operators. A full index, exercises, suggested reading list, a new preface, and a new brief errata list round out the text.

This is far and away themost elementary and well-written treatment of Green's functions I have yet come across. The book is short/concise butempowers the reader to tackle other more advanced works or to actually use Green's Functions to solveODE/PDE's. What more can you ever ask for out of a textbook ?If you can find a used copy of this hard to find classic jump on it.

I came across it in the Binghamton University library. It is short, perhaps 120 pages or so, and very accessible. Absolutley perfect...I just wish there were answers to selected exercises.

Ebook PDF Online The Vietnam War Trilogy: The 13th Valley, For the Sake of All Living Things, and Carry Me Home, by John M Del Vecchio

Three classic novels by John M. Del Vecchio about Vietnam, Cambodia, and the aftermath of war A classic combat novel and National Book Award finalist, The 13th Valley follows the terrifying Vietnam combat experiences of James Chelini, a telephone-systems installer who finds himself an infantryman in the North Vietnamese Army–infested mountains of the I Corps Tactical Zone. Spiraling deeper and deeper into a world of conflict and darkness, this harrowing account plunges Chelini into jungle warfare and traces his evolution from semi-pacifist to all-out, combat-crazed soldier. The seminal novel on the Vietnam experience, The 13th Valley is a classic that illuminates the war in Southeast Asia like no other book.   Some reviewers have called For the Sake of All Living Things the most terrifying book they have ever read. This saga follows a rural Cambodian family—father Chhoun; his beautiful daughter, Vathana; and his young son, Samnang, who becomes the Khmer Rouge yothea Met Nang—from the mid-sixties through the escalation of the civil war, into the horrors of the holocaust, and finally to the country’s quest for rebirth. Documenting their story is American Special Forces Captain John Sullivan who served with the Military Equipment Delivery Team, and who has fallen in love with Vathana.  Carry Me Home brings the troops back to America—a nation confused and divided by the wars in Southeast Asia. In this poignant epic, Del Vecchio transports a group of soldiers to their final battlefield: the home front. High Meadow Farm, in the fertile hill country of central Pennsylvania, becomes their salvation. In Vietnam they had been brothers in arms. Now, in the face of personal tragedy and bureaucratic deception, they create an even deeper allegiance—one of the spirit and of the land. This is the remarkable story of the veterans’ struggle to find one another and themselves. In its scope, breadth, and brilliance, Carry Me Home is much more than a novel about Vietnam vets; it is a testament to history and hope, to hometowns and homecomings, to love and loss, and to faith and family. It is an inspiring and unforgettable novel about America itself.

We face personal battles everyday. We use the principles of the Art of War everyday, whether we know of them or not, to deal with these battles. So it is vitally important to understand these principles and use them wisely and more effectively. We use these principles at work, home, when playing sports and games and when socializing with friends. Those who use these principles well - prosper and enjoy success and happiness. The Art of War is one of the oldest books on military strategy in the world. Known and revered throughout East Asia for centuries. Over the last hundred years, it has slowly gained recognition and the respect of many great men and women in the West. It is one of first and one of the most successful books on strategy and has had a huge influence on Eastern and Western strategists. It has moved from the military sphere to business and now to the personal. Do not be mislead by the title. Sun Tzu preferred peace to war, he spoke of conflict avoidance over rushing to battle. He was also a realist. There will be battles that cannot be avoided and so he speaks of quick victories not long wars. Fear wasn’t a fleeting emotion for Lucy Abrams. It was something she felt every day of her life. The night she almost drowned was seared into her memory, marking the beginning of her problem with anxiety. Her oceanfront home and the crashing of waves against the shoreline served as an ever-present reminder of her past. Until the day she saw someone on the beach whose very presence calmed her. Ellis Sullivan was a recent law school graduate, spending the summer with his best friends at his family’s beach house in Ray Point. It was their last chance to have fun together before they entered the workforce. Summer was supposed to be full of days on the sand and parties at night, but that changed the day he first saw Lucy. She walked into his life and rendered him speechless. He knew he’d never be the same. A relationship between the two was unexpected, but their connection was strong. Not everyone thought they should be together, though. Lucy’s ex-boyfriend, Gabe, wasn’t ready to give up on a future with her. After all, he was the one who saved her life. Love and trust came together to help Lucy find the peace within that she had searched for since that terrible night. Only with the right person by her side was she able to move on, beyond the fear that had ruled her life for far too long. The person who made her feel like she was floating. *This book contains explicit language and sexual content. It is meant for readers 18 and over.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Just Breathe... By Julianne Knutson **Bought the Paperback from the Author***Floating is an interesting book that captivated my attention after a few chapters. A young woman name Lucy had her world change after one fateful night that brought her into the world of anxiety. She’s fighting to overcome her fear of what could have happened by slowly accepting the ocean like she used to, but the only person that tends to calm her panic attacks is the man she saw on the beach throwing the Frisbee and then again in front of her mother’s retail office. Lucy didn’t know it just yet, but once again her life was gonna change…this time for the better.Ellis was ready to take a break this summer and just be free. Free to do whatever and whoever he wanted to do with his two best friends, but what he didn’t count for was the shy, lovely blonde lady that had caught his attention when he was walking back to his car with groceries. Nothing else was on his mind except the blonde young woman he saw. He was starstruck and wanted to find out who she was. When they bump into each other once again he took a leap and asked her out and from there the tide brought them together. Floating was a breathtaking, emotional and personal story that really touched on what anxiety is. I’m not sure how else to express my feeling toward this book other than to say that you need to get it. Like now. What I mostly loved about Lucy was that even though she struggled with anxiety she doesn’t let it take over. I know that it seems like she does in the beginning, but slowly she gets a grip on it. It’s still there, but the presence isn’t as strong as it once was. It was nice to see that Ellis was there for her and never pushed her, but was there for her when she needed him.The secondary characters Tag, Mark, Gabe and Chelsea were a great touch and support system and very well presented in the story. I look forward to reading more and hope to see all of them have a story of their own to follow.

"Love is such a powerful emotion" ☆☆☆☆☆ By Andrea •Romantic Mess• ***Received a gifted copy of this book in exchange for an honest review ***"I need to feel something other than fear.  Love is such a powerful emotion, something you don’t give away lightly"I'm a big fan of Michelle Dare and I always thought that his books have a very particular way to warm your heart. some in a sexy way but this book is different and special, is cozy, sweet but especially comforting."Floating" is a book that focuses on a particular topic, which is real and that many people regardless of age, sex, etc., may be suffering. Anxiety.Lucy is a girl of 22 who lives in fear of a bad accident that changed her life drastically. She has to face her greatest fear every day, every time she opens her eyes, literally their greatest enemy is at her window. Despite that, she has tried to overcome it, but at the same time she has lost moments of his life, living in fear is not something easy to Lucy and although it has the love of a few people, she knows she has to leave someday and live... baby steps. For Ellis Sullivan only a glance is enough to fall deeply in love with Lucy, the need to be close to her is immense... Lucy feels she is floating with him.“I’m really here, and I’ll stay for as long as you want.  I’m yours, Lucy.”  Heart, mind, body, and soul; I’ve never fallen so fast.  Well, I’ve never fallen at all.  Maybe we’re moving too fast, I’m not sure.  When it comes to her, I just spit out whatever is on my mind.  Like I’m under some compulsion to always say what I feel"For starters I think this book is beautiful in a unique and different way. Obviously Lucy's life is not easy, living in fear is a terrible thing, I believe that no human being should go through something like that. I could identify with each character in the book, each view was different and very valid. But Lucy is a character who despite everything, remains real; Every emotion was palpable and all touched the bottom of my heart and stayed there, as I was reading came a time where I just accept everything and I could feel, every emotion of the characters trying to project, and I can be honest to say that left a mark on my heart. What I love about this book is that not only focuses on the romance, although that is also something beautiful to read, but also revolves around family, friends, support a person receives in difficult times and how important it is, let go of people and understand that this is mature and is also part of life, accept ourselves as we are, and above all accept and face our fears. Although it is easier to write than to do it, it is something that every human being needs to do at some point in their lives."I’m floating.  I’m on a cloud high above anything that can harm me.  It’s only Ellis and me.  No anxiety, no fear, nothing.  I want to live on this cloud forever"The way in which Ellis loves Lucy is sweet. It is magic as the love between them grows and how they fit perfectly. The kind of love they have is healthy, is the kind of love that holds your hand in difficult times and helps heal your heart.Again, this book is very special! Michelle Dare made me feel every word and feeling. But above all she wrote a book that leaves you thinking about every aspect of your life. Not only that there are people who suffer from anxiety, but also left me thinking about the value of life, in the blink of an eye life can change. It leaves you thinking that all have strength and light within ourselves. To say "I miss you" and "I love you" to the people we love, no matter what happens in our lives.Personally this book has a special place in my life, and provides a light to the life of any person regardless of their situation. It is a book that fills you with courage, strength and hope. I highly recommend it, Michelle is a great writer who is capable of projecting every feeling through her words.

A New Hampshire storybook writer, Nate Herrick, has come up with a great idea. Children in New Hampshire can learn about Gilbert Lafayette by reading Herrick's new book "General Lafayette Stood Here!". In the book Herrick invented a time machine by taking the children to the period when the event happened. We think children will be able to learn some very interesting history when reading this book. From one of the most critically acclaimed and beloved storytellers of our time comes a major new collection of stories and verse that pierce the veil of reality to reveal the enigmatic, shadowy realms that lie just below the surface of our everyday world.

"We each have our little triggers. . . . things that wait for us in the dark corridors of our lives." So says Neil Gaiman in his introduction to Trigger Warning, a remarkable compendium of twenty-five stories and poems that explore the transformative power of imagination. Here is a rich cornucopia of horror and ghost stories, science fiction and fairy tales, fabulism and poetry that chart the wilds of experience and emotion. Included is "Nothing O'Clock," a very special Doctor Who story that was written for the beloved series in 2013, as well as the never-before-published "Black Dog," a haunting new tale that revisits the world of American Gods as Shadow Moon stops in at a village pub on his way back to America.

Gaiman, a sophisticated writer whose creative genius is unparalleled, entrances with his literary alchemy and transports us deep into an undiscovered country where the fantastical becomes real and the everyday is incandescent. Replete with wonder and terror, surprises and amusements, Trigger Warning is a treasury of literary delights that engage the mind, stir the heart, and shake the soul.

By Amazon Customer I already owned the hardcover of Trigger Warning, but there is a strange delight in being able to listen to an author read their own tales aloud, using the tones of voice and inflections that they intended for various characters and phrases, hearing the pauses, the intensity, listening to the story as they imagined it. Neil Gaiman is one of the few authors to read his own works for audiobooks, and I applaud him for this. The rich, imaginative shadows he weaves are all the more alive when he himself reads them for us.

Indian Springs, Nevada (pop 991), at the edge of the Mojave, is “downtown" to three institutions: — Creech Air Force Base, home to drone operators in their air-conditioned trailers, — High Desert State Prison, Nevada’s largest, newest, and most modern, and — the Sekhmet Temple of Goddess Spirituality, a women’s community in the desert. All three are concerned with violence against women. This remarkable combination is the setting for some very confused relations among four protagonists, in a plot modeled on Cervantes and Goethe. They are all musicians, and music maps their gnarly way throughout.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A Meditation on Love By R. Jacobs A wistfully serious meditation on love told through the prism of chamber music performed by the lovers themselves. Estrin’s always unique take on this modern life informs this pleasant, wonderfully composed novel. The characters include a prison reformer, a wannabe General Curtis LeMay (the real-life General Buck Turgidson of Dr. Strangelove fame), a drone warrior and a couple beautiful women–each with their own mostly uncertain agendas when they cross paths in the Nevada desert. This is a relatively brief novel that is simultaneously erudite and accessible.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Misbehavior of drones, chromosomes and prison inmates By Ian Stokes Classical music is the theme that pervades this account of the four principal actors in Estrin’s latest novel. However, the self-discipline of their musical quartet is enveloping four differing and sometimes undisciplined individual lives. Meanwhile, in the background there is the drone-hum created by the anonymous Reaper pilots, and the rustling of suppressed anarchy among the inmates of the federal prison. Things do get out of control – misbehavior of drones, chromosomes and the audience for the quartet’s misguided attempt at musical therapy for the prisoners. Estrin challenges the reader to reflect uneasily on whether the controlled discipline of society’s cultural norms really can constrain the loose cannons that dwell, latent or not, within us.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. An amazing performance by an author who’s already published By Amazon Customer Estrin’s Speckled Vanities is marvelous reading, companionable, cinematically rapid and confident, a reader’s bargain at $1.99 for an e-book. It opens on the west coast, then revolves around a state-of-the-art prison in the high desert of Nevada on the one hand, and a feminist-goddess commune on the other, and thereby triangulates and refracts as one single cultural chord the deadly and chaotic, semi-somber, semi-sober America of the 1970s, the Viet Nam hiccup and hangover era, the psychedelic party petering into the tepid, criminal and glitzy, farcical repetitions of itself, viewed through the emotional and intellectual prisms of the passionately high cultural, classical music couple, the Wardens, one awkwardly assistant warden at the prison, so presumably Warden Warden, the other drawn to the intangible, presumably humid, and weltering energies that suffuse her fellow-female commune. It's exhilarating to read, weaving and lining language authentic to each of these three distinct sites to their deliberate or involuntary repudiation of the grueling zombie mediocrity of everything they are not, which is the middle-brow, comfort culture of the ever-expanding flock of bewildered sheep who look up a darkening sky, inexorably poisoned sky and bleat, hoping they’ll get fed. An amazing performance by an author who’s already published, evidently independently, around ten prior novels.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. We know Aphrodite as the goddess of love and we know Pegasus is the winged horse By Jake Cook All over the world there are extraordinary stories—stories that once upon a time were believed to be true but are today limited to the sphere of myths and legends. The question remains, are those myths something that existed in the minds of our ancestors, or were they based on true events? It is true that most of those stories appear to the scientific world as fictitious products of vivid imaginations whose goals were purely to explain phenomena beyond their comprehension. The stories of Greek mythology have formed the basis for how we think of our ancient forefathers. We’ve heard the stories of Theseus and the Minotaur and how Pandora opened a box and cursed humanity with the evils of the world. We know Aphrodite as the goddess of love and we know Pegasus is the winged horse. That’s just scraping the surface of Greek mythology, and oftentimes, it’s a much darker and much more bizarre place that we’d ever think. This book is not organized to be a quick reference. It tells the main stories and characters as well as gives a brief section on the minor figures. For each section, the author explains where he is getting the material with a little editorial comment. Even if you are not really into mythology this would be and interesting book since it is part of history. After reading this book, it enhanced my love for mythology and I am now on a mythology binge, reading Homer's Odessey and Iliad. Jackson's book is a good one to use in teaching, but it must not be considered the final authority on any of the topics it addresses.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Not only are they cool to consider By John Snowy Facts about mythology are so interesting. Not only are they cool to consider, they’ll also come in handy when you’re doing the crossword puzzle or playing Jeopardy! If you don’t have time to take a class, or read a big book, you can still learn a little about mythology by reading this handy ebook. The Greek gods were created by man to explain the world around them, act as a means of exploration, provide legitimacy and authority to ancient Greek aristocracy, and provide entertainment for the masses. The religion of the ancient Greeks did not have a single source of written scripture such as the Bible or the Qur'an. Furthermore, the ancient Greeks did not believe in absolute truth as practiced by modern faiths such as Christianity and Judaism. Generally, a Greek city-state would devote itself to a particular god or a set of gods, and depending on the location of the city-state, the characteristics of the gods could vary widely. What I like most about this book is that it is organized so that it is easy to read and understand. This is a great introduction to the Greek Myths and written in a style that makes it entertaining and not a chore to read. I was in awe through out my journey through the good, the bad, and the gore of the Greeks, with some Norse thrown in at the end. It's a great reference tool, and the stories are amazing in their own right. It covers everything and makes it easy to understand. Great buy.

Instead of playing cops & robbers or cowboys & Indians, my brother and I played Cronos & Zeus. I know a little weird. I was happy to see by reading this book that we were not far off the mark. Crosos was the leader of the Titans and Zeus was a son that Mrs. Crosos hid from him because he had the bad habit of eating his kids whole. It was the only way to get them out of the way since they were immortal. Jackson's book is full of stories of the gods, goddesses, plus primordial deities. It comprehensive and a pretty darn fun book.

A true personal account of the capture of a slave-running ship by USS Porpoise in the fleet assigned for the suppression of the slave trade. It is told by John Taylor Wood, who, in 1850, had been a young midshipmen on the Porpoise in the Gulf of Guinea off the coast of West Africa, at the mouth of the Niger River. The captain and crew of the Porpoise sight a slave-running ship, give chase, fire upon it, capture, board, and take its captain and crew into custody, in irons and under guard. Wood describes: "From the time we first got on board we had heard moans, cries, and rumblings coming from below, and as soon as the captain and crew were removed, the hatches had been taken off, when there arose a hot blast as from a charnel house, sickening and overpowering. In the hold were three or four hundred human beings, gasping, struggling for breath, dying; their bodies, limbs, faces, all expressing terrible suffering. In their agonizing fight for life, some had torn or wounded themselves or their neighbors dreadfully; some were stiffened in the most unnatural positions. As soon as I knew the condition of things I sent the boat back for the doctor and some whiskey...." Wood continues describing the voyage to return the captured slaves to the authorities of Monrovia, the capital of Liberia, where the United States had arranged for repatriation of emancipated slaves.

The author did a wonderful job of not only telling the tale but of showing how the young, inexperienced captain and his crew came to understand their mission and the people they were entrusted to care for. Mr. Rogers shows how the captain and crew came to see the saves as people and not just 'cargo'.Once I started reading I simply could not put it down. The mark of a good story is one that touches you and keeps you thinking, even after you have finished reading. This book does that. I highly recommend this book, it is one of the best I have read in some time.

A young man finds himself Captain of a ship in charge of tracking down slave runners with pitch black souls on the open seas. He is injured and unprepared for the awesome responsibility of capturing the slave runners and managing their cargo of human beings. The "cargo" opens his eyes to new ways of seeing things. Very good!

The mark of a great historical fiction book is to capture the unique character of the times and also present compelling, believable characters, Mike Rogers succeeds on both counts and pulls the reader into an exciting adventure story that also has a compelling moral message about our shared humanity.

Reading the Greek Mythology in a Novel Perspective By Indunil Madhusankha It seems really fitting to contend that Greek Fire by Selected International Poets is a mind-blowing exploration of the essence of Greek mythology. Intriguingly, the collection aptly captures the spell binding grandeaur of the glorious victories and adventurous escapades by Greek gods and goddesses and also the frightening indulgences of the monstrous ancient beings. Thus, it is without the least reservation that I would like to recommend this fascinating anthology to all the fans of English poetry and the lovers of Greek mythology.

Volume 12 of Adams Family Correspondence, with 276 documents spanning from March 1797 through April 1798, opens with the inauguration of John Adams as president and closes just after details of the XYZ affair are made public in America. Through private networks of correspondence, the Adamses reveal both their individual concerns for the well-being of the nation and the depth of their public and political engagement with the republic. Abigail’s letters to friend and foe demonstrate the important role she played as an unofficial member of the administration. John Quincy and Thomas Boylston’s letters from The Hague, Paris, London, and finally Berlin offer keen observations about the political turmoil in France and its consequences, the shifting European landscape as a result of the war, and court life in Berlin following the coronation of Frederick William III.

In the midst of crisis, the family’s domestic life and personal connections challenged and sustained them. The marriage of John Quincy and Louisa Catherine Johnson in London in July 1797 gave the family cause for celebration, while John’s appointment of John Quincy as U.S. minister to Prussia created a minor rift as the scrupulous younger Adams struggled with concerns about nepotism. Visits between the elder Adamses and their children Nabby and Charles in New York provided welcome distractions, even as John and Abigail worried about Nabby’s domestic situation. With the characteristic candor and perception expected from the Adamses, this volume again features forthright commentary from one family at the center of it all.
