It's always a risk trying someone trying to break into the scene, but there is nothing here to make me regret throwing a buck at a story to kill some down time in one solid go. The story does a good job of exploring the mind when a man is put in a dooming situation. It can be described as The Martian-esque I would suppose, in a way to give other readers a brief idea of what to expect, but without ruining anything it's even more hopeless. In short, this is a good, solid short story worth the dollar you pay for it that even left me thinking a good time after it was over. That's all you can really ask for.

The details, the description, the imagery... you feel connected to not only the story but the character as well. I loved getting an honest look into the character sinking further and further into the loneliness and despair that he would come with being completely alone. Ive read this Author's novel, and now had the pleasure of reading his short story. I will look forward to anything the he comes out with next.
