It's literary-fiction sci-fi, which is my favourite genre (wait... is that a genre?). I think fans of Margaret Atwood would love this book. It's dark and funny, and wise. I've never read anything quite like it. I'll probably read it again just to try and figure out how the author managed to pull it all off!
