BEST PRACTICAL GUIDE ON CUBAN ART By Cognoscenti Tokyo If you are looking for the most updated information on Cuban contemporary art, this is what you should read. Actually this was the ONLY practical book about Cuban art I could find. This book is not only for art fans but for travelers. It covers 100 Cuban artists whose studios are in Havana, and they are grouped by geological locations to help you plan your visits before you travel to Cuba. The zone maps indicate the locations of the artists' studios as well as museums and restaurants. The restaurants showcased in the book seem sophisticated enough for well-traveled foreign tourists. A book you can use before, during and after your trip to Cuba.

If you are looking to purchase Cuban art before the rush to Cuba, this is the only book I found and is consistent with my trip to Cuba this year.
