21 Simple Methods for Remembering Anything

Memory is the ability to recall occurrences, information, places, people and things from the past, and according to research we lose approximately 5% of that ability with each passing decade. But memory loss is not an inevitable part of aging. The brain is capable of producing new brain cells at any age because just like any other muscle, if you use it you won’t lose it. What causes age-related memory loss?
  • The hippocampus, a region of the brain involved in the formation and retrieval of memories, often deteriorates with age.
  • Hormones and proteins that protect and repair brain cells and stimulate neural growth also decline with age.
  • Older people often experience decreased blood flow to the brain, which can impair memory and lead to changes in cognitive skills.
  • Older people are less efficient at absorbing brain-enhancing nutrients.
  • You don’t have to get older to experience memory loss. Like I said before If you don’t use your brain you will lose it’s power, so you want to make sure you regularly train your brain. So for example:
  • Have you ever walked into a room and forgotten what you went in there to do?
  • Do you have a hard time remembering what you had for breakfast?
  • Do you find yourself forgetting new peoples’ names relatively quickly?
  • It’s not that you are losing your ability to remember, you are just not stimulating your brain enough to remember little things like that, and that’s exactly why I’ve written this book. To help you remember.

  • Fun ways to improve your memory
