Good story *some spoilers* By Trish This was a good story, but the whole thing was ruined for me with him sleeping with those two girls, in his room, where he knew she would see. I know they weren't technically together, but they kind of were. That was so totally unnecessary that it left a bad taste in my mouth for the whole rest of the story. A guy is so over the moon for a girl that to prove that she means nothing to him he sleeps with not one but two girls? Thinking about it, but not doing it is one thing, but to bring them home where he knows she's coming home after work and walking into that is unforgivable. And then when it went back to his point of view, you never know what he thought about it. Why did he do that? Did he feel guilty? He had to have seen the look on her face. He seemed so into her, then accepts an invite from two sluts right in front of her. But then, it's never mentioned again from him. I would have liked to have heard some guilt from him, maybe that would have made me hate it less. This probably would have gotten five stars from me, but like I said, that one part ruined the whole thing.

I've read a lot of them. I consider her one of my go to authors. I've never read anything by Anna Hart.So... When this book popped up. I couldn't wait to read it!I pretty much knew early on that this book was different.I have to admit. I wasn't really feeling this book. I liked how the book started. Strong and shocking and it was in your face. I thought as I was reading it.Yes! I'm in for a good read!But...Once the the Stone brothers were introduced. It pretty much went down hill for me.The contest they had going on.... Felt childish. And kind of took away from the story for me. The brothers thought of girls as numbers!I mean... Really "sticky fingers".Grown men acting like pigs! That whole contest was just gross. My opinion of them was not good!And... That kind of set the whole tone of this book for me.Colt and Jade started off so strong. I felt their connection. Colt felt it too.But once colt went off with Jen & Tina. I just couldn't stand him. And Jade never asked Colt about it. Which irritated me. A girl just willing to accept what was in front of her.... No explanations.And... Colt would let some of these girls sit on his lap or rub up against him. In front of Jade!But Jade could not talk to anyone. I HATE those kind of situation in books.I wasn't really feeling the way Hunter was treating Amy aka street either. Why would she just allow herself to be second best. Just aggravated me. Hunters can be with as many women as he wants. But EVERYBODY knows not to talk to or ask Amy out. And even when Amy does go out. She doesn't give the guy a chance.Now... That gets to me.After Colt and Jade got together the story pretty much was ok. But how the brothers were. I just couldn't get into it.

It guaranteed that I'll never ever read these authors again that's for sure. It doesn't't matter how gritty a book is it's not ok to have your characters be complete trash not worth the thought process it took to make him. Jade is just a too stupid to live female that has no spine! If I'd seen some shot like that he'd have been looking forever for what was left of his balls! Piece of crap there's the words for his ass! This story incensed me as an avid reader because that is not technically the way abused peeps act! Maybe what these authors should do is get our facts right and write an awe inspiring book & make survivors instead of trash. I feel short changed.
