Edwin Hubble was a man ahead of his time. For him, only astronomy really mattered. By Jessica Greenhood Beyond the telescope, I knew nothing about Edwin Hubble. Most people presume that smart people have it easy and go by on their brains. It was nice to here that he was an athlete and due to that combined with brains got him a scholarship to go to Oxford. It was truly inspiring to hear how despite his intelligence he tested the waters in other areas till he found his niche. Edwin Hubble is truly an inspiration that I wouldn't have known if it hadn't been for this book! Thanks, Doug West for this insightful biography!

By Gords56 I am not really a science person but this book caught my eye. i was looking for something worthwhile to read and this didn't disappoint. This book is straight to the point and very easy to read. i know the story of hubble by heart. Each chapter is clear and written well. There are also images that accompanies the chapters which makes it interesting.
