By Kelly Lawrence I was completely surprised by this brilliant collaboration of real-life art and storytelling. This book is a descriptive, amazingly witty, creative, and heartfelt take on the (sometimes secret) pains and sacred desires of a woman's evolving heart and mind. The stories reminded me that in life, you don't always get a choice what changes are imposed on you day-to-day but you can choose to be honest about your feelings, take note of the lessons learned and do whatever it takes to make your soul truly happy and able to move forward. To the authors, thank you for sharing your raw and inspiring truth. If it means anything, I was blessed.

Though I personally have not suffered through the tragedy of divorce, I found this to be a very thought provoking read. As a woman who sometimes experiences self doubt, reading through the journey of these women was simply inspiring. I found quite a bit of truth in "Rambling Thoughts of Mindless Minds." I also found R x : Girlfriends, Getaways, and Cocktails to be a fun, entertaining, and engrossing read. All in all it was an excellent book and I'd recommend it to any woman who finds herself on a new path and is looking for a fresh perspective.

It had a great message, but it does not spare your feelings. My favorite poem is " A Shiner". It deals with real life and how hard it is to heal emotional scars. This is a book to read if you want to change your life. Every life lesson is a step to recovery. I will read it again.
