McClellan’s book with the ungainly title covers every detail of taking quality pictures of flat objects such as paintings, photographs, and documents. Robert covers every aspect of the process from how to hold the copy flat to preventing a key-stone effect. The lessons apply to any camera, not just cell phone cameras. Many of the techniques presented also apply to other aspects of photography such as the section on vibration.The material is presented in an easy to read, even fun, manner that is clear and succinct. Most importantly, the techniques produce spectacular results. It’s a must read for all serious photographers.
